उवाच श्लक्ष्णया वाचा सहदेवो विशाम्पते । प्रजानाथ! इतनेहीमें सहदेव भी तुरंत ही रथसे उतर पड़े और महाबली भीमसेनके द्वारा पकड़े गये सात्यकिसे मधुर वाणीमें इस प्रकार बोले---
sañjaya uvāca | uvāca ślakṣṇayā vācā sahadevo viśāmpate | prajānātha! itenahīme sahadeva bhī turanta hi rathase utara paṛe aura mahābalī bhīmasenake dvārā pakaṛe gaye sātyakise madhura vāṇīmeṃ isa prakāra बोले—
Sañjaya said: O lord of the people, Sahadeva spoke in a gentle voice. At that very moment, Sahadeva quickly descended from his chariot and, addressing Sātyaki—who had been seized by the mighty Bhīmasena—spoke to him with sweet, conciliatory words as follows—
