तेषां संसक्तगात्राणां कर्षतामितरेतरम् । दन्तसंघातसंघर्षात् सधूमो5ग्निरजायत,वे एक-दूसरेसे अपने शरीरोंको सटाकर आपसमें खींचातानी करते थे। दाँतोंसे दाँतोंपर टक्कर लगनेसे धूमसहित आग-सी उठने लगती थी
Transliteration
teṣāṁ saṁsaktagātrāṇāṁ karṣatām itaretaram | dantasaṅghātasaṅgharṣāt sadhūmo 'gnir ajāyata ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: As they grappled with limbs locked together, each dragging and wrenching the other, the clash and grinding of their teeth raised, as it were, a fire accompanied by smoke.
