तस्य प्राग्ज्योतिषो मध्ये विधिवत्‌ कल्पितं गजम्‌

Transliteration

tasya prāgjyotiṣo madhye vidhivat kalpitaṃ gajam

Translation

Sañjaya said: In the very midst of that Prāgjyotiṣa formation, an elephant had been duly arranged according to prescribed military procedure—an emblem of deliberate strategy amid the ordered violence of war.
