आसीतू सुविद्धलो राजन् यथा दृष्टस्त्वया विभु: । फिर वे हथियार डालकर अपने प्राणोंकी ममतासे रहित हो अचेत हो गये। राजन! उस समय शक्तिशाली होनेपर भी वे कितने व्याकुल हो गये थे, यह आपने प्रत्यक्ष देखा था
āsīt suviddhalaḥ rājan yathā dṛṣṭas tvayā vibhuḥ |
Arjuna said: “O King, you yourself witnessed how that mighty one appeared—pierced through and overwhelmed. Casting aside his weapons, he fell into a senseless state, free from clinging to life; and though powerful, he was seen to be shaken with anguish.”
