Sañjaya said: Men, driven by desire, wrath, ignorance, exultation, or childish fickleness, perform deeds opposed to dharma and even sink into contemptuous disrespect toward the noble. Here, the son of Pārṣata (Dhṛṣṭadyumna) has indeed wrought a great act of adharma—an act stamped with grave impropriety and moral transgression.

Sanjaya characterizes an action attributed to Dhṛṣṭadyumna (called ‘Pārṣata’) as a major breach of dharma, framing it as an act of contempt and moral violation within the war’s unfolding events.
