एतन्नारोचयद्‌ वाक्यं कुन्तीपुत्रो धनंजय: । अरोचयंस्तु सर्वेडन्ये कृच्छेण तु युधिष्ठिर:,कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुनको यह बात अच्छी नहीं लगी। परंतु और सब लोगोंको जँच गयी। युधिष्ठिर बड़ी कठिनाईसे इसके लिये तैयार हुए

Transliteration

etannārocayad vākyaṃ kuntīputro dhanaṃjayaḥ | arocayaṃs tu sarve ’nye kṛcchreṇa tu yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

Translation

Kṛpa said: “This proposal did not please Dhanaṃjaya Arjuna, the son of Kuntī. Yet it appealed to all the others; only Yudhiṣṭhira accepted it with great reluctance.”
