अन्ववर्तत राजानं स्वस्ति ते5स्त्विति चाब्रवीत् । दुर्योधनकी यह बात सुनकर द्रोणाचार्यने हँसते हुए-से उसकी बातका अनुमोदन किया और “तुम्हारा कल्याण हो” ऐसा कहकर वे राजा दुर्योधनसे पुन: इस प्रकार बोले-- ।। २३ *॥ को हि गाण्डीवधन्वानं ज्वलन्तमिव तेजसा
sañjaya uvāca | anvavartata rājānaṃ svasti te 'stv iti cābravīt | ko hi gāṇḍīvadhanvānaṃ jvalantam iva tejasā |
Sañjaya said: He followed after the king and said, “May welfare be yours.” Hearing Duryodhana’s words, Droṇācārya, as if smiling, signified his approval and, blessing him again with “May you prosper,” addressed King Duryodhana once more: “For who indeed could (withstand) Arjuna, the wielder of the Gāṇḍīva, blazing as it were with splendor?”
