दानवानां सहस्राणि हिरण्यपुरवासिनाम्‌

dānavānāṃ sahasrāṇi hiraṇyapuravāsinām

Sañjaya said: “Thousands upon thousands of Dānavas—those dwelling in Hiraṇyapura—were present, arrayed in ranks.”
