Shloka 101

एवं कृत्वा रणे कर्ण आरुरोह रथं पुन: । ततो मुमोच नाराचान्‌ सूतपुत्र: परंतप,रणभूमिमें ऐसा पराक्रम करके कर्ण पुनः अपने रथपर आ बैठा। शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरेश! फिर सूतपुत्र कर्ण नाराचोंकी वर्षा करने लगा

evaṁ kṛtvā raṇe karṇa ārurōha rathaṁ punaḥ | tato mumoca nārācān sūtaputraḥ parantapa ||

Sañjaya said: Having thus displayed his prowess in the battle, Karṇa mounted his chariot again. Then the charioteer’s son, a scorcher of foes, released a volley of nārāca arrows.
