Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | tataḥ karṇo raṇe dṛṣṭvā pārṣataṁ paravīrahā | ājaghānorasi śarair daśabhir marmabhedibhiḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: Then Karṇa—slayer of enemy champions—seeing the son of Pṛṣata (Dhṛṣṭadyumna) on the battlefield, struck him in the chest with ten arrows that pierced the vital points.
