शकुनिश्चार्जुनं राजन्‌ परिवार्य समन्तत:ः । रथैरनेकसाहसैर्गजैश्ञापि सहस्रश:

Transliteration

śakuniś cārjunaṃ rājan parivārya samantataḥ | rathair aneka-sāhasair gajaiś cāpi sahasraśaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: O King, Śakuni surrounded Arjuna on every side—pressing in with many thousands of chariots, and with elephants too, in their thousands.
