Educational Q&A

True excellence is measured by guṇa—ethical and personal virtues—not only by power or victory in battle; the Pāṇḍavas are presented as possessing a broad range of such virtues.

Sañjaya, narrating events to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, affirms that beyond the qualities already mentioned, the Pāṇḍavas have many additional virtues, reinforcing their moral stature within the war narrative.
