पलायनकृतोत्साहा निरुत्साहा द्विषज्जये

Transliteration

palāyanakṛtotsāhā nirutsāhā dviṣajjaye

Translation

Sañjaya said: In that battle against their foes, their energy was bent only toward flight; their spirit for standing and striving had ebbed away.
