भीमसेन–अलायुधयुद्धम् / Bhīmasena and Alāyudha: Night Engagement and Command Responses

न द्रोणो न च राधेयो नाश्व॒त्थामा कृपो न च । क्रुद्धस्य समरे स्थातुं पर्याप्ता इति मारिष,माननीय नरेश! उसे यह निश्चय हो गया कि “इस भूतलपर अर्जुनके समान कोई दूसरा योद्धा नहीं है। समरांगणमें कुपित हुए अर्जुनके सामने न द्रोण, न कर्ण, न अश्वत्थामा और न कृपाचार्य ही ठहर सकते हैं"

sañjaya uvāca |

na droṇo na ca rādheyo nāśvatthāmā kṛpo na ca |

kruddhasya samare sthātuṃ paryāptā iti māriṣa ||

Sanjaya said: “Neither Drona, nor Radheya (Karna), nor Ashvatthama, nor even Kripa is sufficient to stand firm in battle before Arjuna when he is enraged.”
