Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the warrior ethic of steadfastness and renown in battle, while also acknowledging the role of fortune (diṣṭyā) in survival—suggesting that human valor and destiny are both operative in the war narrative.

Sañjaya addresses two unnamed warriors in the dual, praising them as undefeated and matching his earlier description, and expresses relief and gratitude that he sees them safe.
