अलायुधस्य भीमवधसंकल्पः

Alāyudha’s Resolve to Confront Bhīma

द्रोणग्राहदुराधर्षाद्धार्दिक्यमकरालयात्‌ । वे बोले--'बड़े सौभाग्यकी बात है कि मैं तुम दोनों शूरवीरोंको शत्रुसेनाके समुद्रसे पार हुआ देख रहा हूँ। वह सैन्यसागर द्रोणाचार्यरूपी ग्राहके कारण दुर्धर्ष है और कृतवर्मा जैसे मगरोंका वासस्थान बना हुआ है || ५४ $ || दिष्ट्या विनिर्जिता: संख्ये पृथिव्यां सर्वपार्थिवा:

diṣṭyā vinirjitāḥ saṅkhye pṛthivyāṃ sarvapārthivāḥ

Sañjaya said: “By good fortune I behold you both, O heroes, having crossed beyond the sea of the enemy host. That ocean of armies is hard to pass, for Droṇācārya is there like a grāha, and it is the haunt of makaras such as Kṛtavarmā. And by good fortune, the kings upon the earth have been decisively overcome in battle.”
