Alāyudha’s Resolve to Confront Bhīma
Sanjaya said: “You are the Primeval Person—supreme God, the God of gods, the eternal Lord and the preceptor of the celestials. Those who take refuge in you never fall into delusion at any time.”

The verse teaches that true refuge (prapatti) in the eternal Supreme Lord dispels moha (delusion). Surrender to the highest divine reality grants clarity and steadiness, even amid fear and moral turmoil.
Sanjaya, narrating events to Dhritarashtra, voices a devotional affirmation of the Supreme Lord’s status—primeval, supreme, and teacher of the gods—emphasizing that those who seek shelter in Him do not succumb to confusion.
