अमानुषाणि दिव्यानि महान्ति च बहूनि च तदैवाज्ञासिषं शत्रून् हतान् प्राप्तां च मेदिनीम्,“श्रीकृष्ण! बाल्यावस्थासे ही आपने जो बहुत-से अलौकिक, दिव्य एवं महान् कर्म किये हैं, उन्हें जबसे मैंने सुना है, तभीसे यह निश्चितरूपसे जान लिया है कि मेरे शत्रु मारे गये और मैंने भूमण्डलका राज्य प्राप्त कर लिया
amānuṣāṇi divyāni mahānti ca bahūni ca tadaivājñāsiṣaṁ śatrūn hatān prāptāṁ ca medinīm
Sañjaya said: “From the very moment I heard of the many superhuman, divine, and mighty deeds you performed, I became certain that my enemies were already slain and that the sovereignty of the earth had come into my hands.”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how faith in Kṛṣṇa’s extraordinary, divinely grounded capability generates unwavering certainty about victory and rightful sovereignty; it frames success in war and rule as ultimately dependent on higher agency rather than mere human calculation.
Sañjaya reports a declaration of confidence: upon hearing of Kṛṣṇa’s many wondrous deeds, the speaker concludes that the opposing enemies are as good as defeated and that dominion over the earth is assured.
