तौ परस्परवेगाच्च गदाभ्यां च भूशाहतौ । युगपत पेततुर्वीरौ क्षिताविन्द्रध्वजाविव,वे दोनों वीर परस्परके वेगसे और गदाओंद्वारा अत्यन्त घायल हो दो इन्द्रध्वजोंके समान एक ही समय पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़े
tau parasparavegāc ca gadābhyāṃ ca bhūśāhatau | yugapat petatur vīrau kṣitāv indradhvajāv iva ||
Sañjaya said: Struck down by the force of each other’s charge and battered by their maces, the two heroes—grievously wounded—fell together upon the earth, like twin Indra-banners collapsing at the same moment.
