Educational Q&A

Do your rightful duty with resolve, but recognize that results—such as victory—are not fully in human control and ultimately depend on divine providence or fate. This encourages ethical action without arrogance or despair.

Sañjaya addresses a Kuru elder (commonly Dhṛtarāṣṭra) and affirms his commitment to perform what should be done, while reminding that the final outcome of the war—victory—lies with the divine.
