सात्यकिरुवाच न हन्तव्यो न हन्तव्य इति यन्मां प्रभाषत । धर्मवादैरधर्मिष्ठा धर्मकज्चुकमास्थिता:,सात्यकि बोले--धर्मका चोला पहनकर खड़े हुए अधर्मपरायण पापात्माओ! इस समय धर्मकी बातें बनाते हुए तुमलोग जो मुझसे बारंबार कह रहे हो कि “न मारो, न मारो' उसका उत्तर मुझसे सुन लो
Translation
Sātyaki said: “You who cling to adharma while standing clad in the garb of dharma! At this moment you keep telling me again and again, ‘Do not kill, do not kill,’ sheltering behind pious talk—now hear my reply.”
