धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणाभिमुख्यं तथा सात्यकि-कर्ण-समागमः

अपूजयन्त त॑ देवा विस्मितास्ते5स्य कर्मभि: । युद्धमें प्रायोपवेशन करनेवाले, इन्द्रके समान पराक्रमी भूरिश्रवाको मारा गया देख सिद्ध, चारण, मनुष्य और देवताओंने उनका गुणगान किया; क्योंकि वे भूरिश्रवाके कर्मोंसे आश्चर्यचकित हो रहे थे
Transliteration
apūjayanta taṁ devā vismitās te ’sya karmabhiḥ |
Translation
Sañjaya said: “The gods honored him, astonished at his deeds. Seeing Bhūriśravas—heroic like Indra—slain while he had undertaken the fast unto death on the battlefield, the Siddhas, Cāraṇas, humans, and gods praised his virtues, for they were struck with wonder at the greatness of his conduct.”
