धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणाभिमुख्यं तथा सात्यकि-कर्ण-समागमः
Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s advance toward Droṇa and the Sātyaki–Karṇa confrontation
येषु येषु नरव्यात्र यत्र यत्र च वर्तते । आशु तच्छीलतामेति तदिदं त्वयि दृश्यते,नरव्याप्र! मनुष्य जहाँ-जहाँ जिन-जिन लोगोंके समीप रहता है, उसमें शीघ्र ही उन लोगोंका शीलस्वभाव आ जाता है; यही बात तुममें भी देखी जाती है
yeṣu yeṣu naravyāghra yatra yatra ca vartate | āśu tacchīlatām eti tad idaṃ tvayi dṛśyate naravyāghra ||
Bhūrīśravā said: “O tiger among men, wherever a person dwells and with whomever he keeps company, he swiftly takes on their disposition and conduct. That very truth is seen in you as well, O tiger among men.”
