मायाशतसूजौ दृप्तौ मायाभिरितरेतरम् | अन्तर्हितौ चेरतुस्ती भृूशं॑ विस्मपकारिणौ,वे घमंडमें भरे हुए निशाचर सैकड़ों मायाओंकी सृष्टि करते और मायाद्वारा ही एक- दूसरेको परास्त करना चाहते थे। वे लोगोंको अत्यन्त आश्वर्यमें डालते हुए अदृश्यभावसे विचर रहे थे
Translation
Those two night-roaming beings, swollen with pride, conjured hundreds of māyās (illusions) and sought to overthrow each other by those very spells. Moving about unseen, they filled all who beheld the battle with profound astonishment.
