दुर्योधनस्य कर्णप्रार्थना — कृपकर्णसंवादः
Duryodhana’s Appeal to Karna — The Kripa–Karna Dialogue

Thus Karṇa—mighty-armed, powerful, and a great archer—moved about the battlefield. Honoured in due measure for his mastery of weapons-knowledge, he was treated with the regard one shows to an ācārya, and he conducted himself with the confidence of a fully acknowledged warrior.
कर्ण उवाच
Martial excellence (vidyā) brings social recognition and authority; when a warrior is duly honoured for skill, he gains the standing to act decisively in war—highlighting how status, respect, and competence reinforce one another within kṣatriya norms.
Karna describes himself as a powerful, great archer who, being properly honoured for his weapons-knowledge—almost as one honours a teacher—moves about the battlefield with strength and confidence, ready to engage in combat.
