Rātri-yuddhe Droṇasya prahāraḥ — Bhīmasenasya dhārtarāṣṭra-śūrānām nigrahaḥ

अंसे शिरो भीमसेन: करौ कृत्वोरसि स्थिरौ | वेगमास्थाय बलवान्‌ मनो5निलगरुत्मताम्‌

aṁse śiro bhīmasenaḥ karau kṛtvorasi sthirau | vegam āsthāya balavān mano'nilagarutmātām ||

Sañjaya said: Bhīmasena, fixing his head upon the shoulder and setting both hands firmly upon the opponent’s chest, gathered his full force and surged forward—his speed likened to that of the mind, the wind, and Garuḍa. The verse highlights the ferocity and resolve of close combat in war, where strength and momentum are harnessed with unwavering intent.
