Droṇa Encircled at Night: Coalition Advance and Battlefield Omens (द्रोणपर्यावरणं रात्रियुद्धवर्णनम्)
वध्यमाना महाराज पुत्रास्तव बलीयसा । भीम॑ प्रहरतां श्रेष्ठ समन््तात् पर्यवारयन्,महाराज! अत्यन्त बलवान् भीमसेनके बाणोंसे घायल होते हुए आपके पुत्रोंने योद्धाओंमें श्रेष्ठ भीमसेनको फिर चारों ओरसे घेर लिया
vadhyamānā mahārāja putrās tava balīyasā | bhīmaṁ praharatāṁ śreṣṭha samantāt paryavārayan ||
Sañjaya said: “O King, though your sons were being struck down and wounded by the mighty Bhīma, they nevertheless surrounded Bhīmasena—the foremost among those who smite—on all sides.”
