Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined inner control (steady breath, composure) expressed through outward readiness (armor, heroic bearing), suggesting that victory is supported not only by strength but by collected resolve and steadfastness in one’s warrior-duty.

Sañjaya describes Bhīma on the battlefield: he appears fully equipped and radiant, breathing steadily and projecting an unmistakable momentum toward victory—an image meant to convey confidence and the turning of the tide in combat.
