तस्य लक्ष्म न पश्यामि भीमसेनानुजस्य ते । 'भीमसेन! जिन्होंने एकमात्र रथकी सहायतासे देवताओंसहित गन्धर्वों और दैत्योंपर भी विजय पायी थी, उन्हीं तुम्हारे छोटे भाई अर्जुनका आज मुझे कोई चिह्न नहीं दिखायी देता है”
tasya lakṣma na paśyāmi bhīmasenānujasya te | “bhīmasena! yenaikātra-ratha-sahāyatā devaiḥ saha gandharvair daityaiś ca parājitāḥ, tasya te ’dya kaniṣṭhasya bhrātur arjunasya me na kiñcil lakṣaṇaṃ dṛśyate” ||
Sañjaya said: “I see no sign of your younger brother, Arjuna. O Bhīmasena—he who, with the aid of a single chariot, once overcame the Gandharvas and the Daityas together with the gods—today I can discern no mark of him at all.”
