द्रोणपर्व — अध्याय 128: दुर्योधनस्य परसेनाप्रवेशः
Duryodhana’s Incursion and the Tumult of Battle
प्राप्तकालं सुबलवन्निश्चितं बहुधा हि मे । तत्रैव पाण्डवेयस्य भीमसेनस्य धन्विन:
prāptakālaṃ subalavan niścitaṃ bahudhā hi me | tatraiva pāṇḍaveyasya bhīmasenasya dhanvinaḥ
Sañjaya said: “To me it has become clear—again and again—that the decisive moment has arrived, and that the mighty archer Bhīmasena, the son of the Pāṇḍavas, is firmly resolved in this very matter.”
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical weight of decisive timing in action: when the critical moment arrives, a warrior’s resolve must be firm and purposeful, not wavering—especially in a dharmic struggle where hesitation can endanger many.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra his assessment that the moment has ripened for a decisive act, and that Bhīma—described as a powerful Pāṇḍava archer—is steadfastly determined regarding the immediate situation on the battlefield.
