अर्जुनस्य जयद्रथाभिमुखप्रयाणं तथा कर्णेन प्रतिरोधः
Arjuna’s renewed advance toward Jayadratha and Karṇa’s resistance
त॑ यान्तमश्वैः शशिशड्खवर्ण- विंगाहा सैन्यं पुरुषप्रवीरम् । नाशवनुवन् वारयितुं समन्ता- दादित्यरश्मिप्रतिमं रथाग्रयम्,सूर्यकी किरणोंके समान प्रकाशमान रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ नरवीर सात्यकि आपकी सेनामें घुसकर चन्द्रमा और शंखके समान श्वेतवर्णवाले घोड़ोंद्वारा आगे बढ़ते चले जा रहे थे। उस समय किसी ओरसे कोई योद्धा उन्हें रोक न सके
taṁ yāntam aśvaiḥ śaśiśaṅkhavarṇa-viṅgāhā sainyaṁ puruṣapravīram | nāśakanuvan vārayituṁ samantād ādityaraśmipratimaṁ rathāgryam ||
Sañjaya said: Sātyaki, the foremost among chariot-warriors, radiant like the sun’s rays, drove forward into your army with horses white as the moon and conch. From any side, no fighter was able to check or turn him back as he pressed on through the host.
