Educational Q&A

In the midst of battle, dharma for kṣatriyas includes protecting comrades and responding to immediate injustice or danger with disciplined force. Leadership (Dharmarāja at the forefront) is shown as responsibility in crisis—mobilizing others to shield the threatened and check the aggressor.

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that when Yudhiṣṭhira and other leading Pāṇḍava warriors see Bhīma in a distressed or perilous state, they collectively unleash a rain of arrows and severely harass Kṛtavarmā.
