Śaineya’s Breakthrough and Reunion with Arjuna (शैनेयस्य समागमः)
महानागान् विद्रवतो दृष्टवार्जुनशराहतान् । पतितान् पततक्चान्यान् मन्ये शोचन्ति पुत्रका:,अर्जुनके बाणोंसे आहत होकर बड़े-बड़े गजराजोंको भागते, गिरते और गिरे हुए देखकर मैं समझता हूँ कि मेरे पुत्र शोक कर रहे होंगे
mahānāgān vidravato dṛṣṭvārjunaśarāhatān | patitān patatak cānyān manye śocanti putrakāḥ ||
Sañjaya said: Seeing the great war-elephants—struck by Arjuna’s arrows—fleeing in panic, collapsing, and others already fallen, I judge that your sons are grieving.
