धृतराष्ट्र-संजय-संवादः — सात्यकि-अलम्बुसयोर्युद्धवर्णनम्
Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Saṃjaya Dialogue; Account of Sātyaki vs Alambusa
तथैव युयुधानो<पि द्रोणं बहुभिराशुगैः
tathaiva yuyudhāno ’pi droṇaṃ bahubhir āśugaiḥ
Sañjaya said: In the same manner, Yuyudhāna too assailed Droṇa with many swift-flying missiles.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the tension between reverence for elders and the uncompromising demands of kṣatriya-duty in war: even a respected teacher like Droṇa becomes an opponent when one is bound by allegiance and battlefield obligation.
Sañjaya reports that Yuyudhāna (Sātyaki) joins the assault and attacks Droṇa, showering him with numerous swift arrows, continuing the intense exchanges of the Drona Parva battle.
