कुलमाञ्जनकं नाम यत्रैते वीर्यशालिन: । आस्थिता बहुभिम्लेंच्छैर्युद्धशौण्डै: प्रहारिभि:,“महाराज! यह जो आप हजारों हाथियोंकी सेना देखते हैं, इसका नाम है आंजनककुल। इसमें पराक्रमशाली गजराज खड़े हैं, जिनके ऊपर प्रहारकुशल और युद्धनिपुण बहुत-से म्लेच्छ योद्धा सवार हैं
Translation
Sañjaya said: “O great King, this host of elephants that you behold in their thousands is called the Añjanaka clan. There stand mighty war-elephants, full of valor, and upon their backs ride many Mleccha warriors—skilled in striking and seasoned in battle.”
