क्वचिद्‌ यास्यामि कौरव्य सत्यमेतद्‌ ब्रवीमि ते | “महाराज! कुरुनन्दन! मैं आपको इस महासमरमें किसी वीरके संरक्षणमें रखे बिना कहीं नहीं जाऊँगा; यह मैं आपसे सच्ची बात कहता हूँ

kvacid yāsyāmi kauravya satyam etad bravīmi te |

Sañjaya said: “O Kauravya, I tell you the truth: I will not go anywhere at any time; I will not leave you in this great battle without the protection of some hero.”
