Droṇa-parva 112: Karṇa–Bhīma Engagement and Duryodhana’s Protective Order
एतद् वचनमाज्ञाय मम सत्यपराक्रम

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Having understood these words of mine, O you whose valor is grounded in truth…”
युधिष्ठिर उवाच
The line foregrounds an ethical ideal: true heroism is not mere force but valor disciplined by truth (satya). Yudhiṣṭhira’s address frames action as accountable to truthful counsel and dharmic intent.
Yudhiṣṭhira is speaking and begins a directive or appeal: he asks the addressed person—praised as “truth-valiant” (satyaparākrama)—to act after understanding Yudhiṣṭhira’s words. The verse functions as an introductory half-line leading into the next instruction.
