स शब्द:सुमहान् राजन् दिश: सर्वा व्यनादयत् । त्रासयामास तत् सैन्यं युगान्त इव सम्भूत:,राजन! प्रलयकालके समान सब ओर फैला हुआ वह महान् शब्द सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको प्रतिध्वनित करने और आपकी सेनाको डराने लगा
sa śabdaḥ sumahān rājan diśaḥ sarvā vyanādayat | trāsayāmāsa tat sainyaṃ yugānta iva sambhūtaḥ ||
Sañjaya said: “O King, that exceedingly great sound resounded through all the directions. Arisen like the roar of the world’s end, it struck terror into that army.”
