Arjuna said: “O Kṛṣṇa, within this armour is concealed the power of the three worlds. Indeed, Droṇa alone knows this secret lore; and I too have come to know it only by learning from that most excellent teacher.”

The verse highlights the extraordinary potency attributed to a protective ‘armour’ and stresses that such power is accessed through legitimate transmission: true mastery of secret knowledge comes via the guru–śiṣya lineage, not mere possession or hearsay.
Arjuna addresses Kṛṣṇa, explaining that a particular armour embodies immense, almost cosmic power, and that Droṇa is the sole authority who knows this lore; Arjuna claims his own knowledge derives from learning it from Droṇa.
