Duryodhana Seeks Droṇa’s Counsel; Imperative to Protect Jayadratha; Pāñcāla Assault on Duryodhana

अस्मिन्नन्तहितं कृष्ण त्रैलोक्यमपि वर्मणि । एको द्रोणो हि वेदैतदहं तस्माच्च सत्तमात्‌,श्रीकृष्ण! इस कवचके भीतर तीनों लोकोंकी शक्ति संनिहित है। एकमात्र आचार्य द्रोण ही इस विद्याको जानते हैं और उन्हीं सदगुरुसे सीखकर मैं भी इसे जान पाया हूँ

asminn antahitaṃ kṛṣṇa trailokyam api varmaṇi | eko droṇo hi vedaitad ahaṃ tasmāc ca sattamāt ||

Arjuna said: “O Kṛṣṇa, within this armour is concealed the power of the three worlds. Indeed, Droṇa alone knows this secret lore; and I too have come to know it only by learning from that most excellent teacher.”
