Droṇa’s engagements with the Kekayas and Cedis
तत्र पार्थस्य भुजयोर्महद्धलमदृश्यत । यत् क्रुद्धो बहुला: सेना: सर्वतः समवारयत्,उस समय वहाँ अर्जुनकी दोनों भुजाओंका महान् बल देखनेमें आया। उन्होंने कुपित होकर उन विशाल सेनाओंको सब ओर जहाँ-की-तहाँ रोक दिया
tatra pārthasya bhujayor mahad balam adṛśyata | yat kruddho bahulāḥ senāḥ sarvataḥ samavārayat ||
There, the mighty strength of Pārtha’s two arms became manifest: in wrath he checked the many great armies on every side, holding them back wherever they advanced.
संजय उवाच
Strength is shown not only in attacking but in disciplined control—Arjuna’s power is portrayed as the capacity to restrain and contain the onrush of violence, aligning martial prowess with responsible kṣatriya conduct.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Arjuna’s extraordinary arm-strength became evident on the battlefield as, angered, he halted and held back numerous enemy forces pressing in from all directions.
