Sañjaya said: Then Hṛṣīkeśa (Kṛṣṇa) came, drawn by excellent horses swift as Garuḍa and as the wind in their impetuous speed, astonishing the whole world.

Even in the violence of war, disciplined power guided by higher purpose can become a moral spectacle: true mastery (Hṛṣīkeśa as 'lord of the senses') inspires awe not through chaos but through controlled, purposeful action.
Sañjaya describes Kṛṣṇa’s arrival, conveyed by superb horses whose speed is likened to Garuḍa and the wind; the sudden, majestic approach is portrayed as so extraordinary that it amazes everyone.
