धृतराष्ट्र रवाच यः स उद्यन्निवादित्यो ज्योतिषा प्रणुदंस्तम: । अजातशत्रुमायान्तं कस्तं द्रोणादवारयत्,धृतराष्ट्र बोले--जो उगते हुए सूर्यकी भाँति अपनी प्रभासे अन्धकार दूर कर देते हैं, उन अजातशत्रु युधिष्ठिरको द्रोणके समीप आनेसे किसने रोका था?
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca yaḥ sa udyann ivādityaḥ jyotiṣā praṇudaṃs tamaḥ | ajātaśatrum āyāntaṃ kas taṃ droṇād avārayat ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: “He who, like the rising sun, drives away darkness by his radiance—when Ajātaśatru (Yudhiṣṭhira) was advancing toward Droṇa, who was it that held him back from reaching Droṇa?”
