Sañjaya said: “Just at that very time, O King, Arjuna—the Pāṇḍava warrior with Kṛṣṇa as his charioteer—arrived there, cutting down enemies on every side, to the place where the two mighty lion-like heroes, the father and son Bhīmasena and Ghaṭotkaca, were engaged in battle with Bhagādattā.”

The verse highlights the ideal of disciplined, duty-bound valor in a dharma-yuddha: Arjuna advances effectively under Kṛṣṇa’s guidance, suggesting that righteous action gains clarity and force when aligned with wise counsel and higher purpose.
At this moment in the battle, Arjuna—driving with Kṛṣṇa as his charioteer—reaches the spot where Bhīma and his son Ghaṭotkaca are fighting Bhagādattā, arriving while cutting down foes on all sides.
