भीमसेन-दुर्योधन-प्रहारः तथा घटोत्कचमायाप्रादुर्भावः | Bhīmasena–Duryodhana Clash and the Manifestation of Ghaṭotkaca’s Māyā
एकी भूता: सुसंयत्ता: कौरवाणां महाचमूम् । व्यूहाय विदधू राजन् पाण्डवान् प्रति दंशिता:
ekībhūtāḥ susaṁyattāḥ kauravāṇāṁ mahācamūm | vyūhāya vidadhu rājann pāṇḍavān prati daṁśitāḥ ||
Sañjaya said: O King, the Kauravas—united and fully prepared—began to arrange their vast army into a battle-formation, having armed themselves to face the Pāṇḍavas. In this moment the epic underscores how collective resolve and disciplined organization intensify the moral weight of war: the coming violence is not accidental but deliberately planned and embraced.

The verse highlights deliberate agency in war: when leaders unite, arm themselves, and systematically arrange forces, the conflict becomes a consciously chosen act. This intensifies ethical accountability—organization and readiness are not morally neutral when directed toward adharma-driven hostility.
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Kauravas, united and prepared, are arranging their large army into a formal battle-formation (vyūha) to fight the Pāṇḍavas.
