अध्याय ८८ — घटोत्कच-दुर्योधनयुद्धवर्णनम्

इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें सातवें दिनके युद्धर्ें सुशर्मा और अर्जुनकी भिड़ंतसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला चौरासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraḥ Śrīmahābhārate Bhīṣmaparvake antargataṃ Bhīṣmavadhaparvaṇi saptame dine yuddhe Suśarmā-Arjunayoḥ bhiḍantena sambandhaṃ rakhanevālā caturāśītitamo ’dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
Sañjaya said: Thus, in the Śrī Mahābhārata, within the Bhīṣma Parva—specifically in the section concerning Bhīṣma’s slaying—the eighty-fourth chapter, connected with the clash between Suśarmā and Arjuna on the seventh day of the war, is concluded.
