अज्ञायमाने च धनंजयेडपि महाहवे सम्प्रसक्ते नृवीरे । कथं हि भीष्मात्‌ प्रथित: पृथिव्यां भयं त्वमद्य प्रकरोषि वीर,“वीर! नरवीर अर्जुन कहीं महायुद्धमें फँसे हुए हैं। उनका इस समय पता नहीं है। ऐसे समयमें तुम आज भूमण्डलके विख्यात वीर होकर भीष्मसे भय कैसे कर रहे हो?”

Translation

“O warrior! Dhanañjaya—Arjuna—is caught up somewhere in this great battle, and his whereabouts are not known at this moment. At such a time, how can you, though famed across the earth as a hero, be afraid of Bhīṣma today?”
