Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Sañjaya-saṃvādaḥ; madhyāhna-saṅgrāma-pravṛttiḥ
Dhritarashtra–Sanjaya dialogue and the midday battle escalation
विव्यथे न च राजेन्द्र तव पुत्रो जनेश्वर | धृष्टद्युम्नं च समरे तूर्ण विव्याध पत्रिभि:
vivyathe na ca rājendra tava putro janeśvara | dhṛṣṭadyumnaṃ ca samare tūrṇaṃ vivyādha patribhiḥ ||
Sañjaya said: “O king, your son did not falter; in the thick of battle he swiftly pierced Dhṛṣṭadyumna with his arrows.”
