teḍabhijāta mahēṣvāsāḥ suvarṇa-vikṛta-dhvajāḥ | parīpsanto 'bhyadhāvanta dhṛṣṭadyumna-vṛkodarau ||
Sañjaya said: Those high-born, mighty archers—adorned with banners fashioned in gold—rushed forward at great speed, intent on safeguarding Dhṛṣṭadyumna and Vṛkodara (Bhīma).
