Sañjaya said: In the thick of battle, Droṇa—angered yet proud of his prowess—aimed at Bhīma’s vital points and pierced him with nine iron-shafted arrows. The scene underscores how, in war, mastery and wrath can turn skill into deliberate, targeted harm, even against a foremost hero.
संजय उवाच
