सम्प्रहस्य च हृष्टात्मा त्रिभिर्बाणैर्महाभुज: । जलसंध॑ विनिर्भिद्य सोइनयद् यमसादनम्,तत्पश्चात् प्रसन्नचित्त हो उन महाबाहुने हँसते-हँसते जलसंधको तीन बाणोंसे विदीर्ण करके यमलोक पहुँचा दिया
samprahasya ca hṛṣṭātmā tribhir bāṇair mahābhujaḥ | jalasaṃdhaṃ vinirbhidya so ’nayat yamasādanam ||
Sañjaya said: Laughing aloud and exultant in spirit, the mighty-armed warrior pierced Jalasandha with three arrows and sent him to the abode of Yama.
